Green Party Autumn Conference, City Hall, Bristol

At the beginning of October, Evans provided the audio visual and scenic support for the 2018 Green Party Autumn Conference at City Hall in Bristol. Making use of the Barco E2 Presentation System, Evans created a 2-way live video link between the Conference Hall and Council Chamber meaning over 800 delegates could be accommodated for questions and voting. Cinema Rediscovered 2018 for Bristol Watershed

Evans were proud to support the Watershed with Cinema Rediscovered 2018. Now in its 3rd year the outdoor cinema was a first for the event where the 1980’s hit Flash Gordon was shown on the Friday night, then Saturday saw the 2018 hit Black Panther. We set up our 8m x 6m covered mobile stage and built a truss framed 20’x11’ perforated screen in the courtyard by the M Shed. …

The Hobbs Show 2018 – Bristol Harbour Hotel

We were delighted to provide in conjunction with our colleagues at Utopium Lighting, all the technical support and staging required for the Hobbs Show 2018 on June 16th at the Bristol Harbour hotel. This year’s event had a burlesque/louche cabaret theme rather than a straightforward fashion show as produced in previous years. Slapstick Comedy Festival 2018 at the Colston Hall, Bristol

Evans once again provided their technical services for the Slapstick Comedy festival across Bristol last weekend. At the Colston Hall, Evans built their custom 30ft screen solution. The screen is tab tracked for easily adjusting the aspect ratio between 4:3 and 16:9. Over at the Bristol Old Vic, two 10k Panasonic projectors were overlayed and video played back on Sony DigiBeta.

Evans at The Grand Hotel & Spa, York

Working for Image Intelligence, Evans supplied the AV, lighting and staging for Henkel’s recent sales conference at The Grand Hotel and Spa in York. The Edwardian style boardroom was transformed with a sleek white set, recessed projection screen and LED uplighting.

Three successful Bristol-based events ran smoothly thanks to Evans Audio Visual Staging, October 2017.
