Three successful Bristol-based events ran smoothly thanks to Evans Audio Visual Staging, October 2017.
The first occasion was the Auril annual conference at the Bristol Marriott Hotel, to which Evans supplied the stage set, large format LED screens and audio equipment. A strong programme attracted capacity audiences, which meant some delegates were sat at the edges of the room with limited visibility of the screens. The team from Evans immediately mobilised to install two more screens to ensure everyone enjoyed the full visual aspects of the presentations. Evans also provided further last minute equipment to the event to ensure one of the speakers could switch between two video sources seamlessly during their presentation.
The second event, Byte Night, was a nationwide charity fundraiser aiming to raise £1,400,000 for Action for Children. Byte Night involves individuals having their own ‘sleeping rough’ experience for one night, to increase awareness of homeless children in the UK. Evans provided projection equipment, plasma screens and a live video feed to the Bristol event which took place at We The Curious: the new brand for @Bristol. Evans supplied the equipment at a charitable rate as well as providing them with extra screens. Maisie O’Malley from Action for Children said: “It’s been great to work with Evans once again this year, the event went really well and they were fantastic as usual. We really appreciate everything they did to ensure the smooth running of Byte Night.”
The following day, Evans supplied the Women’s Adventure Expo – an inspiring day filled with talks and workshops from leading female adventurers and explorers. The Adventure Expo was, like Byte Night, held at We The Curious. The Evans team planned similar configurations for the two events meaning a much more efficient transition between them.
