We stylised the venue for The Hobbs Show, Bristol’s longest-running fashion show, 6th February 2016.
The Hobbs Show is the second largest fashion event outside London and is hosted by Bristol hair salon Hobbs. The event celebrates spectacular fashion, performance and music, with all profits going to Meningitis Research Foundation.
We provided all the scenic elements, the backdrop, catwalk, VIP area, backstage areas, the after show band stage and ancillary staging elements for the show, which took place at Bristol’s Passenger Shed. We also provided a full range line array PA system, HD projection and teamed up with local lighting supplier Utopium to provide lighting and rigging to illuminate the show.
Reg Evans, managing director at Evans Audio Visual Staging commented: “We’ve been supplying The Hobbs Show since its creation and it’s always a pleasure to get the chance to work on such a great local event. Working in a listed building meant that all the equipment we installed had to be freestanding and self-supporting. We worked closely with the organisers on the set design and installation to ensure the event was a great success.”
