We supplied all the audio and visual equipment for a pop-up outdoor cinema on Clevedon’s iconic Pier, 17th September 2016.
Clevedon Pier was transformed into an outdoor cinema for a screening of the swashbuckling classic, Pirates of The Caribbean. To facilitate this screening, we supplied the 4m wide screen which fit seamlessly on the end of the Pier, a Panasonic 6,000 lumens output HD projector and a Nexo sound system which provided the entire audio playback, all of which was installed and operated by our projectionist.
This pilot open-air cinema was a collaboration between The Clevedon Pier, The Curzon Community Cinema and The University of Brighton’s The People’s Pier Project. The community event welcomed an audience of 200 people to the Grade I Listed Victorian Pier, who all enjoyed a brilliant screening in a beautiful setting.
