We supplied the annual Armenian Street Festival, which took place in Kensington, London on the 17th July 2016.
Welcoming people from all over the world, the Armenian Street Festival works to celebrate the culture, food and music of Armenia. We were entrusted to supply the staging, along with our Nexo Geo S12 line array sound system in conjunction with a Yamaha QL1 Mixing console, and a Sony PXW160 video camera, which sent a live feed to the 9mm pitch LED video wall positioned elsewhere on the festival site. We also supplied a simple lighting system to light on-stage performances.
The main act of the day was Iveta Mukuchyan, Armenia’s 2016 Eurovision representative who put on a show-stopping performance. The day also featured a blessing ceremony from Armenian Archbishop Nathan Hovhanissian who was specially flown over for the event, and a performance from world-renowned violinist Levon Chiligirian.
